EVA 収納ケースの世界需要が引き続き拡大

Two containers left the Gaobu plant on the same Friday in October, one bound for Rotterdam and one for Osaka, and neither was carrying the product mix we shipped in 2022. Soft nylon tool bags and blister-packed accessory kits have given way to moulded EVA shells with cut foam inside, and the change shows up in the enquiry log before it shows up in the shipping schedule.

What the order book looks like now

Across the 40-plus countries we ship to, the largest share of new enquiries now comes from buyers who already sell a product and want a case built around it, rather than from buyers hunting for a generic empty box. Audio and wearable accessories sit at the top of that list, followed by power-tool accessory kits and portable medical devices. Volume is lumpy: a first order of 500 pieces is common, and roughly one in three of those repeats at 1,000 or 3,000 within a year. Mr. Yin, who runs the company, puts it in plain terms - buyers used to ask what sizes we had, now they send a product drawing and ask what we can build around it, which is why the sample room rather than the showroom is the busiest part of the building.

Why buyers move away from soft bags

Three reasons come up in almost every conversation. A moulded shell holds its shape when a carton is crushed at the bottom of a pallet, while a soft bag offers no resistance at all. A shell takes a logo - embossed, silk-screened or a rubber patch - without the fabric stretching out of register. And once the tooling exists the unit cost is stable, whereas sewn bags keep drifting with labour and fabric prices.

Weight is the part buyers misjudge at first. EVA sheet at 0.18-0.22 g/cm3 with a 1680D Oxford or PU leather laminate puts a medium case in the 400-700 g range, which is typically 12-15% lighter than an equivalent blow-moulded PP case and far stiffer than a nylon bag carrying the same foam. Several of the designs in our earphone and headphone case range exist only because the brand wanted a shell that survives being sat on.

Capacity on the floor

The plant runs about 10,000 m2 with six production lines and more than 100 sets of equipment, from sheet-cutting tables to compression presses. A moulding cycle for a mid-size shell runs roughly 90-150 seconds depending on wall thickness, and press temperature is held within about 5 degrees C, because a hotter tool gives a shinier surface and thinner corners at the same time. Sewing, lamination and packing sit downstream, and every shell passes incoming-material checks and a final inspection before it is boxed. Full production details sit on the about our factory page.

Compliance is what gates the first purchase order in Europe and Japan: ISO 9001 for the quality system, RoHS and REACH declarations backed by CTI material testing, and SGS factory audits when the buyer's own audit team cannot travel. Samples take about 3 days on a standard structure and MOQ starts at 500 pieces, with tier pricing at 500 / 1,000 / 3,000.

The second shift is currently running the Osaka order - 3,000 headphone cases with a debossed lid logo - and the tooling for the next one, a EVA case for a French instrument maker, is being cut on Monday.

よくあるご質問

Which EVA case categories are growing fastest for export in 2025?
Audio and wearable accessory cases lead our enquiry log, followed by power-tool accessory kits and portable medical devices. Buyers increasingly arrive with a finished product and want a case engineered around it rather than a stock size, which is why interior layout work now takes more sample-room time than shell design.
What is the minimum order quantity for a custom EVA storage case?
MOQ starts at 500 pieces, with tier pricing at 500 / 1,000 / 3,000. The step from 500 to 1,000 usually takes 8-14% off the unit price because press setup and lamination batches are amortised over more units. Complex structures with new compression tooling may require a higher first run.
Which countries does LIANPING export EVA cases to?
The factory ships to more than 40 countries, with North America, Europe and Japan as the main markets. EU and Japanese importers normally require ISO 9001 documentation, RoHS and REACH declarations supported by CTI material testing, and in many cases an SGS factory audit before the first purchase order is released.
