On LIANPING's sample table in Gaobu Town, one backpack holds a compact drone controller and batteries; beside it, the same basic silhouette carries a demonstration kit with color cards and small bottles. Their molded front panels look related, but the interiors, shoulder-strap foam, and load balance are completely different. The custom EVA backpack program is intended for exactly this kind of product-specific work rather than a one-size retail shell.
The molded panel protects without making a box
A compression-molded EVA front at roughly 0.18–0.24 g/cm³ can resist dents and spread light impacts while the sewn back panel stays flexible against the body. Shore C 45–60 covers many everyday equipment loads, with heavier payloads requiring geometry and reinforcement checks. The shell can be laminated with Oxford fabric, PU leather, or another specified textile, then shaped with ribs that improve stiffness and create a recognizable brand surface.
Comfort is determined behind the shell. Shoulder-strap width, sternum-strap position, breathable spacer mesh, and back padding must follow the carried weight and user size. A 3 kg demonstration kit needs different anchoring from a light commuter set. We position the densest item close to the wearer's back and keep hard corners away from the lumbar contact zone. Samples from our molded EVA backpack range are checked loaded, not with paper stuffing.
Personalization continues inside the pack
Die-cut foam suits instruments that must stay in fixed positions. Adjustable dividers work for sales samples that change by season, and zip pouches control small cables or caps. A clamshell opening gives a full view on a workbench, while a partial opening reduces the chance that equipment falls out when the user unzips the pack standing up. The correct choice comes from the operating sequence and whether the pack is used in transit, on site, or both.
Brand treatment can include a molded mark, debossed PU panel, rubber patch, woven label, zipper-pull color, and lining print. These options are developed through LIANPING's custom manufacturing service. For children's or school-related products, the material and component brief may reference EN 71 requirements; the exact clauses and market must be defined before sourcing. General adult equipment packs instead may prioritize RoHS, REACH, or a customer restricted-substance list.
A straightforward backpack sample can be made in about three days after dimensions, payload, artwork, and materials are confirmed. Development checks cover strap symmetry, seam reinforcement, zipper clearance, standing balance, and a loaded carry trial. A 1.0 m drop check may be useful for an equipment pack, but it does not replace a wear test. The shoulder anchors still have to tolerate repeated starts, stops, and one-strap lifting.
Custom production starts from 500 units, with usual pricing comparisons at 500, 1,000, and 3,000 pieces. LIANPING operates six production lines in a 10,000+ m² Dongguan facility, moving the pack through sheet cutting, molding, sewing, lamination, packing, and full inspection. At the current fitting, the lower anchor is being shifted 15 mm inward because the loaded drone kit was pulling the right strap toward the wearer's shoulder edge.
