Внутри дунгуаньского завода EVA кейсов площадью 10 000 кв. м: компрессионное формование, амортизация оснастки при 3 000 штук, испытания на падение ISTA и полная проверка перед упаковкой.

Morning shift at the No.5 Caodun Industrial 4th Street building starts with the molding presses, not the sewing floor. Six lines run out of roughly 10,000 square metres here in Gaobu, and when all six are on EVA the building converts somewhere around 4-6 tonnes of sheet a week. Dongguan Lianping Luggage Co., Ltd. has operated under this licence since 2015, though the people running the floor have been in luggage manufacturing for more than twenty years.

Tool cases are the largest single program in the plant. That is partly demand and partly fit: they need molding, sewing, lamination and inspection, which keeps every department busy rather than peaking one at a time.

## Six lines, and they are not interchangeable

The route is sheet cutting, then compression molding, then sewing, then lamination and packing. Molding is both the bottleneck and the most temperamental step. EVA sheet at 0.15-0.25 g/cm3 goes into a heated aluminum mold, and dwell time plus temperature decide whether you get a crisp corner or a rounded one that will not hold a zipper. A shift of 5 degC is enough to show up as a stress mark along a hinge. Trimming and edge finishing happen before sewing, because a molded edge that has not been cleaned will fight the needle.

## Tooling economics

An aluminum mold for a mid-size case is a real line item, and buyers ask about it first. The honest answer is that tooling pays for itself after about 3,000 units. Below that, amortisation is visible in the unit price, which is why our tiers sit at 500, 1,000 and 3,000 and why we suggest starting at 1,000 when the design is new. Modifying an existing mold costs far less than cutting a new one, so we keep drawings on file and will tell a buyer when a 20 mm change in length beats a fresh tool.

## Inspection and paperwork

Every case is inspected before packing rather than sampled. Drop testing runs to ISTA 2A or ASTM D4169 depending on the shipment profile, 1.0-1.5 m on six faces with the case loaded, and zippers are pull cycled to about 5,000 opens on a batch basis. The factory holds ISO 9001, runs material testing through CTI, and has been audited by SGS. RoHS, REACH and California Prop 65 declarations are routine for export orders. Shipments go to roughly 40 countries, with North America, Europe and Japan making up most of the volume. 'We would rather lose an order than ship a case we have not dropped,' says Mr. Yin, general manager, when asked why the test bench sits beside the packing line.

Readers comparing what different builders do with the same material can start with the [EVA tool case range](https://evacasemanufacturer.com/ru/products/sub/eva-tool-case), and company background sits on the [about page](https://evacasemanufacturer.com/ru/about). Buyers with a drawing or a sample to match usually send it to the [contact page](https://evacasemanufacturer.com/ru/contact) first, and the reply typically comes back with a cavity proposal and a tooling number. The presses were running a 16 inch case for a Dutch importer when this was written, with the first container booked out of Yantian.

## FAQ

**What certifications does the LIANPING EVA case factory hold?**

The factory holds ISO 9001, runs material testing through CTI, and has been audited by SGS. RoHS, REACH and California Prop 65 declarations are supplied for export orders as standard. Product testing is done to ISTA 2A or ASTM D4169 depending on the shipment profile, with drops at 1.0-1.5 m on six faces under load.

**How much does EVA case tooling cost and when is it recovered?**

Tooling cost depends on shell size and cavity complexity, and it is quoted separately from unit price. Amortisation is generally recovered after about 3,000 units, which is why tier pricing sits at 500, 1,000 and 3,000. Modifying an existing mold is substantially cheaper than cutting a new one, so drawings are kept on file.

**What is the MOQ and sample time at LIANPING?**

Minimum order starts at 500 pieces with tiers at 1,000 and 3,000. Samples for a standard compression molded structure with die-cut foam take about three days. Complex builds with ABS inserts, aluminum frames or thermoformed trays take longer because those components have their own lead times.
